Job summary

Master's Touch Woodworking in Idaho is seeking a skilled cabinet installer to support project work at client sites. You will follow standard woodworking procedures, operate machinery, load and unload cabinetry, and install finished projects on site.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, familiarity with woodworking tools, basic math, and a valid driver’s license. You must be able to lift up to 100 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school certificate or field experience preferred.
• Familiarity with woodworking machinery, tools, and techniques.
• Basic math skills using tape measure, speed square, reading and comprehending instructions and dimensions.
• Self-initiating person who can prioritize and possesses good problem-solving skills with creativity.
• Ability to understand verbal and written instructions and envision all steps in assigned tasks.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift to 100lbs and perform a variety of physically demanding activities.

Responsibilities

• Follow standard woodworking procedures and work with woodworking machinery, tools, and techniques.
• Load cabinets and other finished projects into a truck or trailer for delivery to the customer.
• Unload and install cabinets or other finished projects onto job sites.
• Perform paint touchup work on cabinets, including on-site masking and spraying.
• Maintain an orderly and neat work environment on job sites, in the shop, and in company vehicles.
• Maintain a proper stock of equipment in company vehicles to minimize the need for mid-job hardware store trips. Communicate with the Purchasing Agent about needs for installation.
• Maintain and report issues with company vehicles.
• Maintain and ensure all tools are working safely and properly, including oiling, replacing saw blades, and cleaning tools regularly.
• Communicate to customers, contractors, and project managers through out the project.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
