Job summary

Sage Surfaces, LLC is seeking a Cabinet Installation Tech as a 1099 subcontractor. Projects pay between $3,000–$5,000 each, with 1–3 installations per month depending on availability.

You control your hours and workflow, traveling to various job sites and coordinating with homeowners and designers for precise cabinet installations. You will measure on-site, install pre-manufactured cabinetry, and ensure each project aligns with design specs and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 1+ year(s) of cabinet installation or related carpentry work.
• Proficiency in installing pre-manufactured cabinetry and woodwork with precision.
• License or insurance and EPA Renovator for Lead Safe Practices Certificate.
• Own tools and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift heavy components and work in various environments.
• Strong interpretive skills for blueprints/floor plans.
• Excellent customer service and professional demeanor.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tools and materials for installation.
• Visit multiple job sites and follow detailed homeowner/designer specifications.
