Job summary

Kitchen Tune-Up Stevens Point is seeking a Cabinet Installation Trainee. You’ll start alongside an experienced installer, learn safe methods, and gain responsibility as your skills grow.

No professional carpentry experience is required; paid training is provided. Starting pay is $20–$24 per hour for full-time weekday work (no weekends).

Projects involve updating kitchens, cabinetry, doors, and hardware in customers' homes.

Qualifications

• Interest in hands-on work and willingness to practice.
• Ability to follow instructions and use feedback.
• Basic measurement and number skills; training provided.
• Reliable attendance and respectful behavior in customers’ homes.
• Reliable transportation to Shop (east of Menards 5 miles).
• Install cabinets, doors, etc., with guidance.

Responsibilities

• Help protect the home and prepare the workspace.
• Load, organize, and care for tools and materials.
• Learn to measure, mark, drill, and use tools safely.
• Help remove and install cabinet doors, drawer fronts, and hardware.
• Practice adjustments and finishing details with guidance.
• Clean up daily and ask questions when instructions are unclear.
