Kitchen Tune-Up in Stevens Point is seeking a Cabinet Installation Trainee to learn alongside an experienced installer, picking up safe working methods and gradually handling more responsibility as skills grow.

No professional carpentry experience is required; paid training is provided. Starting pay is $20–$24 per hour with a full-time, weekday schedule (7–4) and no weekend work to help homeowners update kitchens with quality results.

Qualifications

• Interest in hands-on work and willingness to practice.
• Ability to follow instructions and use feedback.
• Reliable transportation to Shop and dependable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Help protect the home and prepare the workspace.
• Load, organize, and care for tools and materials.
• Learn to measure, mark, drill, and use tools safely.
• Help remove and install cabinet doors, drawer fronts, and hardware.
• Practice adjustments and finishing details with guidance.
• Clean up daily and ask questions when instructions are unclear.
