Job summary

Great Floors in Nampa, Idaho seeks a hands-on Cabinet Service Technician to service and repair cabinets, moldings, trim, and handle touch-ups on job sites. This full-time, in-person role focuses on maintaining high installation quality with strong builder relationships and field support.

You will inspect installations, perform measurements, coordinate parts, and document service activities while meeting tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of cabinet industry experience, including construction, installation, repair, adjustment, finish and staining.
• High School education or equivalent.
• Ability to present and articulate points clearly and effectively.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Must consistently meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proactive communication is essential in this role.
• Work well in a team environment.
• Punctual and reliable attendance.
• Computer literate and proficient in MS Office - Excel, Outlook, Word.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have experience as a Carpenter, Cabinet Service Technician, or Cabinet Installer. In this role, you will work to service and repair cabinets, moldings, trim, and handle any touch-ups or adjustments needed on job sites.

This is a full-time, in-person, non-exempt position based in Nampa, Idaho.

• Job Site/Field: Frequent presence at active residential and commercial construction sites with exposure to varying weather conditions, dust, noise, and construction activities.
• Warehouse/Facility: May be exposed to non-climate-controlled environments, moving equipment, elevated noise levels, and warehouse operations.
• Travel: Frequent travel to customer locations, job sites, and company facilities.
• Operational Demands: Role may require managing multiple priorities, meeting deadlines, and responding to field-related issues.
• Safety: Requires adherence to company safety policies and procedures, including the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
