Kight Home Center is seeking a Cabinet Field Supervisor to oversee cabinet projects across the Eastern Virginia coastal region. This role emphasizes strong communication between the field and corporate offices to ensure timely, accurate production.

The ideal candidate has cabinet construction and project management experience, a solid grasp of job-site processes, and a commitment to safety. Willingness to travel to multiple sites and manage field operations is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in cabinet construction and project management.
• Solid understanding of job-site management processes and construction assembly.
• Adheres to safety procedures and practices.
• Understanding of contracts and changes to build-out processes and schedules.
• Ability to analyze and provide problem-solving recommendations.
• Gathers data, compiles information, and prepares reports.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Assists in setting the direction for all cabinet projects.
• Develops and oversees all aspects of cabinet projects regionally to meet goals.
• Contributes to the annual budget and ensures adherence to it.
• Recommends and troubleshoots resolutions to avoid job-site issues in the field.
• Ensures stores and installers follow installed policies, procedures and safety guidelines.
• Guides stores so that projects are executed properly.

Job description

A Carter Lumber Cabinet Field Supervisor is responsible for the development, implementation and supervision for all cabinet-based jobs within the Eastern Virginia coastal regions. This is accomplished by keeping lines of communication and information open between the corporate office and the field to ensure production is accurate and timely. Effective communication with the field and internal departments are mandatory for the success of this position.

Requirements:

• Must have strong work ethic, attention to detail & time managementskills
• Ability to travel to various job sites as needed; may include overnight travel
• Experience in cabinet construction/project management
• Solid understanding of Job Site Management processes and construction assembly
• Understands and observes all safety procedures and practices
• Solid comprehension of all working aspects of contracts; including changes to build out processes and schedules
• Ability to analyze and provide recommendations to solve problems
• Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Exceptional analytical and problem solving abilities
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

• Recommends and troubleshoots needed resolutions to avoid job site issues in field.
• Ensures all stores and installers are aware of installed policies, procedures and safety guidelines that they must follow to meet quality and service standards.
• Provides guidance to stores so that the company can properly execute projects.
