Job summary

Carter Lumber is seeking a Cabinet Field Supervisor to oversee cabinet projects across the Raleigh & Charlotte area. You will bridge communication between the corporate office and field teams to ensure timely, accurate production and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in cabinet construction and project management.
• Understanding of Job Site Management processes and construction assembly.
• Ability to travel to multiple job sites, including overnight trips.
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to procedures.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting direction for cabinet projects.
• Develop and oversee cabinet projects in region to meet goals.
• Contribute to annual budget development and adherence.
• Recommend and troubleshoot resolutions to avoid job site issues.
• Ensure stores and installers follow policies, procedures and safety guidelines.
• Provide guidance to stores to properly execute projects.

Job description

A Carter Lumber Cabinet Field Supervisor is responsible for the development, implementation and supervision for all cabinet-based jobs within the Raleigh & Charlotte areas. This is accomplished by keeping lines of communication and information open between the corporate office and the field to ensure production is accurate and timely. Effective communication with the field and internal departments are mandatory for the success of this position.

Requirements

• Must have strong work ethic, attention to detail & time managementskills
• Ability to travel to various job sites as needed; may include overnight travel
• Experience in cabinet construction/project management
• Solid understanding of Job Site Management processes and construction assembly
• Understands and observes all safety procedures and practices
• Solid comprehension of all working aspects of contracts; including changes to build out processes and schedules
• Ability to analyze and provide recommendations to solve problems
• Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Exceptional analytical and problem solving abilities
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

Department Management

• Assists in setting the direction for all cabinet projects.
