Job summary

Dassault Falcon Jet is seeking an Aircraft Cabinet Assembler to build cabinet components for various aircraft models. You will follow engineering and industry standards to ensure safety, quality, schedule and cost targets, while fostering a positive work environment.

The role requires 6 months of aircraft carpentry knowledge, ability to read 2D/3D data, and proficiency with adhesives/chemicals. Candidates must lift up to 50 lbs and work in a factory setting with OSHA compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months of knowledge of aircraft carpentry, carpentry or fabrication.
• Able to set up and operate all standard equipment or tools.
• Good working knowledge of math and geometry and be able to work in both metric and imperial units of measure.
• Good communication skills and understands the importance of schedules and budgets.
• Basic computer skills.
• Able to lift and transport up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must have visual capacity and muscular dexterity to work on fine detail, high cost products with a minimal errors and rework.
• Able to work with adhesives and chemicals.
• Must not be allergic to industrial chemicals.
• Must be able to work in confined spaces.

JOB SUMMARY

WORKING CONDITIONS

Typical factory environment. May work in areas with high noise levels, and in confined spaces. Will work with company’s approved adhesives and chemicals and exposed to cabinet shop sanding dust.

This position is designated as a safety-sensitive position because it includes as part of the essential job duties operating equipment and tools on a routine basis. Additionally, the duties of this position concern the service and completion of aircraft, and overall airworthiness of the aircraft. This position is one in which a lapse of attention could result in injury, illness, or death. For the safety of this employee and others, the employee must be able to work in a constant state of alertness and concentrate for long periods of time while performing safety activities.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The compensation for this position typically falls between $22 and $29 per hour. This position is eligible for overtime. This position may be eligible for a shift differential or relocation assistance.Note, the final compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of relevant experience, Falcon-specific experience, relevant education/certifications, geographic location, and shift.
