NK Cabinets is looking for a design engineer to draft and engineer high-precision commercial cabinetry for healthcare, government, and landmark projects. You will work on-site in Pacoima, translating architectural plans into production-ready designs and collaborating with production teams to ensure accurate fabrication.

The role offers growth toward project management, with strong emphasis on AutoCAD and Cabinet Vision proficiency and clear documentation of specifications.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 2 years of cabinet drafting experience in a cabinet manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of 2 years using AutoCAD tailored for cabinet manufacturing.
• Strong technical background as a Cabinet Engineer.
• Ability to review and interpret complex architectural drawings.

Aufgaben

• Review architectural drawings and specs to create accurate production designs.
• Draft precision cabinets and millwork assemblies using AutoCAD and Cabinet Vision.
• Collaborate with production and project management to meet standards.
• Engineer hardware, joinery, and structural components for cabinetry projects.
• Use MS Office and Adobe to generate documentation and material specs.
• Manage multiple submittals under tight deadlines with precision.
