Job summary

Horton Emergency Vehicles, part of Terex Corporation, is seeking a skilled cabinet assembler for our fabrication team. You will assemble cabinets from engineering drawings, set up and operate machines, and fabricate components with a range of hand and power tools.

Qualifications include 1+ year cabinet making experience, ability to read drawings and use measuring devices, and a meticulous eye for quality. Safety gear is required in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• One or more years cabinet making experience or similar experience.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and layout instructions.
• Close attention to detail.
• Ability to read and use linear measuring devices.
• Ability to laminate cabinets & panels as needed.
• Familiar with the safe operation of drills, screw gun, table saw, band saw and routers.
• Ability to use basic mathematics.
• Ability to perform all operations within acceptable quality and time standards.

Responsibilities

• Assemble cabinets from engineering drawings using various tools and equipment.
• Install and fabricate cabinet components and hardware.
• Set up and operate machines; use hand tools to fabricate cabinets.
• Mark outlines or dimensions according to drawings.
• Set work priorities to meet production goals.
