Job summary

SGS & Co is seeking an Assembly Tech to perform final cabinet assembly, LED wiring and signage assembly onsite in Tigard, OR. The role requires reading shop drawings and operating assembly equipment to ensure output quality and adherence to standards.

The position runs Monday–Thursday, 6:00am–4:30pm, with a wage of $24.00–$25.00 per hour. A comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, vision plans, life insurance and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 2+ years of assembly experience; or equivalent education/experience.
• Ability to read and follow shop drawings.
• Ability to work overtime as necessary.

The Assembly Tech is responsible for cabinet assembly and packaging of final products

Hours: Monday - Thursday 6am - 4:30pm

Wage: $24.00 - $25.00 / hour

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred
• 2+ years of previous assembly experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read and follow shop drawings
• Ability to work overtime as necessary.

PHYSICAL ASPECTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk, hear and see.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, extreme cold & heat, risk of electrical shock, and toxic or caustic chemicals.
• The noise level in the work environment may be high.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00 USD hourly. Ultimately, in determining pay, we will consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors.
