Job summary

American Woodmark is seeking a floater to fill multiple roles on the cabinet construction assembly line. The role involves using air tools, drills, and jigs to assemble cabinets to specifications, installing drawers and rails, and performing quality checks on the trimline.

You will work with a variety of hardware, read production labels, and verify RFID tags. The position emphasizes safety, accuracy, and the ability to adapt to different tasks on the line, with occasional overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read a standard tape measure.
• Basic math concepts and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Assemble cabinets on the line according to specs using air tools and drills.
• Install drawers, rails, and hardware on cabinets.
• Fold and install shelf braces and install hinges using hinge machines.
• Verify RFID tags and read production labels for proper assembly.
• Maintain quality and a safe, clean work environment with required PPE.
• Perform other duties as assigned on the trimline.
