Orange Cabinetry Inc. in Bolingbrook, IL is seeking a skilled Cabinet Assembler to join our manufacturing team. You will assemble cabinet parts into finished units, read blueprints, and use hand and power tools to ensure precise fits and high quality.

Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail are essential for producing well-constructed cabinets. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, with competitive pay at $21.00 per hour plus potential commissions per cabinet and comprehensive

Qualifications

• Must have 1–2 years of cabinetry assembly, read blueprints and diagrams.
• High school diploma or GED; trade school appreciated.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools and measuring devices.

Orange Cabinetry is looking for a skilled Cabinet Assembler to join our team in Bolingbrook, IL. In this role, you'll be responsible for assembling cabinet parts into finished units, ensuring each piece fits accurately and meets quality standards. You'll work with hand and power tools to build cabinets with precision. Strong manual dexterity and technical know-how are key. You should be able to read and follow blueprints, diagrams, and assembly instructions with accuracy. The goal is to build well-constructed, high-quality cabinets by assembling individual components into complete products.

Responsibilities

Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures

Collect all material and equipment needed to begin the process

Take precision measurements to ensure perfect fit of components

Select or modify components according to measurements and specifications

Align material and put together parts to build more complex units

Check output to ensure highest quality

Maintain equipment in good condition

Keep records of production quantities and time

Report on issues, malfunction or defective parts

Skills

Proven experience as assembler

Technical knowledge and ability to read blueprints, drawings etc.

Ability in using tools (e.g. clamps) and machines (e.g. presses)

Good understanding of quality control principles

Good communication skills (verbal and written)

Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition

High school diploma; Higher degree from a technical school will be appreciated

Qualifications

Trade school, high school diploma or GED

1-2 years of cabinetry assembly

Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools

Experience in construction, carpentry, and quality control

Strong communication skills

Knowledge of trim carpentry and frame carpentry techniques

Pay and benefits

$21.00 per hour, plus assembly commission per cabinets built under a separate commission agreement provided at hire

Overtime paid at one and one-half times your regular rate for hours worked over 40 in a workweek
