The hourly pay range for this position is $17.00 per hour-$17.00 per hour.Work HoursThe work hours for this position are approximately 7:00 am - 10:30 pm, Mon-Fri.Key PurposeThe Cabin Cleaning Lead is responsible for providing frontline leadership and direction to cabin cleaning team members to ensure aircraft are cleaned, serviced, and prepared in accordance with airline, airport, and company standards. This position serves as a working lead, coordinating daily activities, monitoring productivity, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and supporting supervisors in maintaining operational efficiency at Atlanta-area airport facilities.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team CoordinationLead and direct cabin cleaning personnel during assigned shiftsAssign work areas and tasks to team members based on operational needsMonitor employee performance and productivity to ensure on-time aircraft servicingProvide coaching, guidance, and real-time feedback to team membersAssist supervisors with training and onboarding of new employeesPromote a positive, inclusive, and professional work environmentAircraft Cleaning OperationsEnsure aircraft cabins are cleaned according to airline specifications and established quality standardsPerform and oversee cleaning duties including:Vacuuming carpets and flooringCleaning tray tables, seats, armrests, and galleysSanitizing lavatoriesRemoving trash and debrisRestocking onboard supplies as requiredConduct quality inspections before aircraft release.Address cleaning deficiencies and ensure corrective actions are completed promptlySafety & ComplianceEnforce all OSHA, airport, TSA, airline, and company safety proceduresEnsure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)Report accidents, incidents, equipment damage, and safety concerns immediatelyParticipate in safety meetings and operational briefingsMaintain security awareness and compliance within restricted airport areasOperational SupportCoordinate with supervisors, airline representatives, and other operational departmentsAssist in managing staffing levels to meet flight schedules and operational demandsMaintain accurate records and documentation related to attendance, performance, and operational activitiesSupport special projects and additional duties as assignedQualificationsRequiredHigh school diploma or GEDMinimum 1-2 years of aviation, janitorial, hospitality, or facilities experiencePrevious leadership, lead, or supervisory experience preferredStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced airport environmentAbility to obtain and maintain airport security clearanceMust pass background checks and applicable pre-employment screening requirementsPreferredPrevious airline or airport operations experienceExperience leading diverse teams in a union or non-union environmentKnowledge of aircraft cleaning procedures and quality standardsKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesStrong leadership and team-building skillsAbility to prioritize tasks in a time-sensitive environmentExcellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilitiesAttention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to effectively communicate with employees, management, and airline partnersBasic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and workforce management systemsPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and climb stairs for extended periodsAbility to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 poundsAbility to work inside aircraft cabins and confined spacesAbility to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditionsAbility to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as requiredWork EnvironmentThis position operates in an airport environment and requires adherence to strict safety, security, and operational standards.
