Job summary

Wet 'n' Wild Hawaii seeks friendly Cabana Attendants to deliver top-tier guest service to cabana renters. You will greet guests, take food and beverage orders from the Windjammer Concession, and maintain product knowledge to answer questions.

You will operate the POS system to process sales, accept various payments, follow cash handling procedures, and stay informed about current promotions. The role requires standing for long periods and the ability to work in all shifts, including nights,

Qualifications

• TB clearance is required or can be obtained within 10 days of hire.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
• Uniform must be purchased and employee must stay well-groomed.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to work in a high-paced and stressful environment.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Must be able to work all shifts including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Cabana Attendants are pleasant and outgoing individuals that provide excellent customer service to guests that have rented our Cabanas ensuring customer satisfaction.

Duties are but not limited to the following:

• Ensure that each guest receives outstanding service by demonstrating a friendly and courteous attitude.


• Serve guests that have rented our Cabanas food and beverages from our Windjammer Concession.


• Have a solid product knowledge.


• Use the Point-of-Sale computer system to ring in sales for food and merchandise items.


• Accurately accept cash, credit card and vouchers for payment and issue correct change and receipts.


• Follow all cash handling policies to ensure accurate cash balance throughout the duration of the shift.


• Maintain an awareness of all promotions and advertisements.

Qualifications:

• Must have an active State of Hawaii TB Clearance Card or able to obtain a TB clearance within 10 days after being hired.


• Adhere to work schedules and maintain regular attendance.


• Purchase uniform and keep a well-groomed appearance.


• Abe to stand for an extended period of time


• Must be able to work in an environment that can be at times high paced and stressful


• Must be able to work in all types of inclement weather conditions.


• Ability to lift, push and/or pull up to 25 pounds


• Physical activities include bending, stooping, lifting, climbing, carrying, walking and/or reaching on a frequent basis


• Must be able to work all shifts including days, evenings, weekends and holidays to meet business needs
