Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in public accounting or local government accounting roles.
• CPA license (or in progress) or 10+ years of management experience.
• Supervisory experience with direct reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead complex engagements in accounting, financial reporting, compliance, and performance improvement
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing strategic and technical guidance
• Supervise, train, and mentor a team of consultants and accountants
• Partner with senior leadership on cross-functional initiatives and firm-wide goals
• Stay informed on industry developments and regulatory changes
• Promote a culture of integrity, professionalism, and excellence
• Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure quality outcomes
• Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to team members
• Participate in performance evaluations and staff development planning

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
• 7+ years of experience in public accounting or local government accounting roles with increasing responsibility
• CPA license (or in progress) or 10+ years of management experience without CPA
• Supervisory experience with direct reports
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Experience with Caseware and ERP systems (preferred)
• Strong organizational and project management skills
