Unarmed Security Officer – Retail Store (Hollywood, CA)

Pay Rate: $19–$21 per hour (DOE)

Job Overview

Treston Security is hiring Unarmed Security Officers for a high-profile retail location in Hollywood, CA. Officers will serve as the first point of contact for customers while maintaining a secure shopping environment. A professional, customer-friendly attitude is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible and welcoming presence at the store entrance
• Deter shoplifting, vandalism, and other disruptive behavior through observation and patrol
• Monitor foot traffic, inventory security, and back-of-house areas
• Respond to store staff requests for assistance with non-violent incidents
• Provide directions and assistance to customers as needed
• Complete daily activity reports and incident logs clearly and thoroughly
• Collaborate with store staff and Treston supervisors to enforce site-specific policies

Minimum Requirements

• Valid California Guard Card (Required)
• 18+ years old
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Able to stand and walk for long periods
• Flexible schedule (availability on weekends and holidays preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous retail or loss prevention security experience
• CPR/First Aid certified
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
• Prior military or public safety experience
