Within our Retail locations, we bring this promise to life with heart every day.

Our Staff Pharmacists play a critical role in cultivating a culture of excellence in their pharmacy by acting as a role model, demonstrating genuine care, and setting the bar for the pharmacy team. As a Staff Pharmacist, you support the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing the pharmacy team, and are responsible for the management, oversight, and operation of all aspects within your pharmacy.

The responsibilities include:

  3. Assuming the Pharmacy Manager’s duties when serving as the primary pharmacist-on-duty.
  4. Supporting safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following workflow procedures and safety protocols.
  5. Contributing to positive patient experiences with empathy and care, and coaching the team to do the same.
  6. Proactively offering immunizations and supporting pharmacy technicians in immunization procedures.
  7. Managing pharmacy inventory effectively, with attention to cold chain products.
  8. Ensuring compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations and escalating issues as needed.
  9. Remaining flexible for scheduling and business needs, and supporting a safe, inclusive team environment.
  10. Maintaining clinical and technical skills, and seeking opportunities for professional growth.
  11. Supporting access to care through clinical services like testing and prescribing, where permissible.
