Job Title: Special Events Security Officer (Part-Time / On-Call)
Location: City of West Hollywood, CA
Pay Rate: $20–$22 per hour DOE

Job Description:

Treston Security Services is seeking reliable, professional, for our Special Events Divisionto join our on-call team for high-profile events throughout the City of West Hollywood. Our officers play a critical role in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for all event guests, staff, and performers.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor event entrances, crowd flow, and venue perimeters
  • Provide courteous customer service and enforce event safety protocols
  • Respond calmly and professionally to incidents or emergencies
  • Work collaboratively with local law enforcement, event organizers, and in-house security teams
  • Maintain clear and accurate documentation of observations or incidents

Requirements:

  • Must be LGBTQ+ friendly and comfortable working in diverse, inclusive environments
  • Valid California Guard Card (required)
  • Prior experience in event or venue security (preferred)
  • Must be able to stand for long periods and work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
  • Strong communication and de-escalation skills
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and well-groomed

Schedule:

  • Part-Time / On-Call – Primarily weekends, evenings, and special event dates
