Position Summary

As Pharmacy Manager, you have a significant role in delivering our purpose, modeling our values, and demonstrating genuine, authentic care for our patients. Responsibilities include:

  • Leading and directing your Pharmacy Staff, including Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians
  • Managing all aspects of your pharmacy’s operations, such as Patient Safety, Pharmacy Practice, Regulatory Compliance, Quality Assurance, Customer Service, Personnel, Inventory, Financials, Loss Prevention, and Workflow
  • Implementing patient care programs to promote health
  • Leading with empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues
  • Motivating and developing your team, balancing assignments to maximize strengths and address development needs
  • Identifying business opportunities and implementing solutions to drive growth and performance
  • Adapting to change and fostering a team culture that promotes caring, energy, enthusiasm, and pride
  • Applying knowledge to improve health outcomes and differentiate CVS from competitors

Required Qualifications
  • Active Pharmacy License in the state of employment
  • Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List
  • Immunization Certification from an accredited organization (e.g., APhA)
  • Listed as the ‘pharmacist in charge’ on the state license
  • Registered for PMP access if applicable
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.D.
Pay Range

The typical pay range is $70.00 - $87.00 per hour or salary, depending on experience, education, location, and other factors. The role may include bonuses, commissions, or incentives.
