Job summary
A leading provider of rehabilitation services is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to administer therapy services as directed by a registered Occupational Therapist. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and the ability to maintain accurate records, report observations, and assist in developing patient treatment plans. A valid COTA license for California is required. This role offers the opportunity to enhance the quality of life for patients in a supportive environment.
Qualifications
Licensed as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for the State of California, or eligible.
Ability to bend, reach, or assist to transfer up to 50-100 lbs.
Ability to stand and/or walk 80% of an 8 hr. shift.
Visual and hearing acuity to perform job-related functions.
Responsibilities
Determine patients need for service in collaboration with an OTR/L.
Assist the OTR/L in developing a treatment plan.
Provide patient services recommended by the OTR/L.
