Job Description

Treston Security Services is seeking a responsible and experienced Patrol Security Officer to protect a transitional housing location in DTLA. The role involves overseeing the security team to ensure safety for residents, guests, and property, requiring leadership, professionalism, and operational management. The supervisor will liaise with the HOA board, residents, and security personnel.

Responsibilities

• Safeguard principals from threats and hazards.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies.
• Provide professional security coverage and surveillance.
• Assist with site surveys and logistical planning for high-risk events.
• Operate vehicles safely, identify threats, and provide aid.
• Monitor access control and respond to incidents.
• Document incidents and coordinate with law enforcement.
• Investigate breaches and complaints, and recommend actions.

Qualifications

• Must meet state, county, municipal licensing requirements.
• Understand the principal's "Pattern of Life".
• Excellent physical, mental, emotional condition, team player, adaptable.
• Reliable communication and transportation.
• Legal right to work in the US.
• Strong interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, and reporting skills.

Licenses and Experience

• Valid California BSIS Guard Card.
• First-Aid/CPR certification.
• Pass background and drug screening.
• Security experience: 1-2 years (minimum).
• Customer service: 2 years (preferred).
• Community outreach: 1 year (preferred).
• Patrol security experience: 1 year (preferred).
