Wilshire Law Firm, a distinguished and award-winning firm, seeks a Distribution Attorney with strong California employment law experience, including PAGA and FEHA components. You will contribute to handling wage/hour matters within large-scale class actions and collaborate within a dedicated Employment Class Action team.

The role emphasizes drafting MOUs, long-form settlement agreements, and motions for approvals, with a focus on precision, collaboration, and client communication.

Qualifications

• Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.
• Significant experience finalizing terms of settlement and MOUs.
• Experience drafting motions for preliminary and final approval.
• Strong writing and research skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Willingness to commute to or relocate to Los Angeles, CA (90017).

Responsibilities

• Finalize terms of class and PAGA settlements in MOUs.
• Convert MOUs into long-form settlement agreements, negotiating and finalizing key terms with defense counsel.
• Draft motions for preliminary and final approval of class action settlements.
• Draft declarations in support of approvals.
• Coordinate with the settlement administrator on the settlement report.
• Draft settlement agreements and communicate with clients about settlements.
• Interact with third-party settlement administrators to carry out settlement terms.
