Job summary

Dignity Health - Glendale Memorial Hospital and Health Center is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to perform technical and supportive tasks in the laboratory. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is essential.
• Phlebotomist certification/licensure in California is required.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood specimens and assist with basic laboratory duties.
• Process specimens and input data into the system.
• Answer telephones and support clerical tasks in the lab.
• Prepare specimens for microbiology and reference laboratories as assigned.
• Assist with inventorying and ordering supplies.
