Job summary

Astrion is seeking a C4I Technician in San Diego, CA for the USV Operations and Sustainment program supporting the Astrion Navy Division. This full-time role requires active security clearance and the ability to work on vessels and travel internationally.

You will operate, troubleshoot, and repair network and computing equipment, manage Linux-based systems via shell, develop technical user documentation, and provide support to Navy personnel during at-sea testing of unmanned systems.

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance and US citizenship required.
• Minimum 5+ years as IT Technician or related role.
• Experience operating, troubleshooting, and repairing network and computing equipment.
• Experience administering Linux-based systems via shell.
• Ability to develop technical user documentation.
• Willingness to travel internationally and test at sea.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain computing, networking, and software systems as part of a dynamic IT team.
• Perform software updates and verify Cyber Security compliance.
• Provide technical support to US Navy personnel.
• Support at-sea testing of unmanned systems for the US Navy.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

• SECURITY CLEARANCE: Current active Secret Clearance
• CITIZENSHIP: Current U.S. Citizenship Required.

• EDUCATION / BACKROUND:
• 5+ years' experience as a n IT T echnician or related position
• Experience operating , troubleshoot ing , and repai ring network and computing equipment
• Experience operating and administering Linux based systems via shell

• Able to work on small and large vessels in a dynamic environment
• Able to travel internationally and spend time testing at sea.
