(C3BM) Principal Systems Engineer


Contingent upon prime contractor approval

Purpose:


  • Valkyrie Enterprises has an immediate need for a(C3BM) Principal Systems Engineer in Huntsville, AL. In this role you will support Command, Control, Communications, and Battle Management (C3BM) systems engineering efforts to include engaging in Command, Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) technical engineering and integration, future concepts, new functionality, and multi-national exchange designs.


Job Description:


  • Provide interoperability engineering, analysis, and technical guidance for C2BMC, MDS Elements, and external capability integration and interface design efforts between MDA/BC, BC contractors, and MDS Elements.

  • Participate in technical baseline efforts to develop specifications and interfaces for current and future C3BM spirals.

  • Support critical integration and interoperability product evaluations based on future product integration into MDA/BC spiral builds through interface, requirements, and C2BMC product definitions.


.Qualifications


  • Must have 12+ years of relevant experience and a Master's Degree in STEM.

  • Must have experience with generating and/or reviewing artifacts for major engineering technical reviews such as SRR, PDR, CDR, and IETR events

  • Must have experience or familiarity with MDA weapon systems, radars, or C2BMC or BMDS OPIR Architecture (BOA)

  • Must have experience with assessing technical requirements and/or Interface Control Documents.

  • Must possess both practical and theoretical technical/engineering knowledge in Infrared and/or RF sensor systems.


Desired Qualifications


  • Self-starter with enthusiasm and capacity to learn in a fast-paced environment, preferred.

  • TS clearance with SCI Eligibility, preferred.


Security Requirements:


  • Must have an Active DoD Secret clearance and the ability to maintain it.


Travel Requirements:


  • Up to 10%

  • If position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID. Physical Requirements:


  • Must be able to work in an office environment.

  • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods, moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another, communicating with others to exchange information, repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers, light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds.
