Job summary

Live Nation Entertainment and its festival arm C3 Presents are seeking a Financial Analyst to support FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting across festivals and operations. The role partners with Finance, Accounting, Sponsorship, Legal, and Operations to deliver accurate financial insights and decision support.

You will maintain financial models, forecasts, dashboards, and management reports, while identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to guide sound business decisions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of FP&A, financial analysis, or corporate finance experience.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Advanced Excel skills with financial modeling and data analysis.
  • Experience with ERP/forecasting systems (Oracle, SAP, Hyperion, Adaptive Planning).
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Support monthly forecasts, annual budgets, long-range planning, and CERs.
  • Prepare financial reports and analyze variances vs forecasts and budgets.
  • Maintain models, forecasting schedules, dashboards, and management reports.
  • Monitor forecast accuracy and suggest improvements to planning assumptions.
  • Analyze revenue/expense trends and investigate discrepancies.
  • Assist with audit requests, reporting requirements and documentation.

THE JOB

The Financial Analyst supports financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and operational analysis across C3 Presents' festivals, events, and business operations. This role partners with Finance, Accounting, Sponsorship, Legal, Operations, and other business teams to provide accurate financial reporting, insightful analysis, and decision support.

The Financial Analyst is responsible for maintaining financial models, preparing forecasts and reports, analyzing business performance, and supporting budgeting processes. This position plays an important role in ensuring the accuracy of financial information while identifying trends, risks, and opportunities that support sound business decisions.

What This Role Will Do
Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly forecasts, annual operating budgets, long-range planning, and Capital Expenditure Requests (CERs).
  • Prepare financial reports and analyze variances between actual results, forecasts, budgets, and prior periods.
  • Maintain financial models, forecasting schedules, dashboards, and management reporting.
  • Monitor forecast accuracy and recommend improvements to planning assumptions.
  • Analyze revenue and expense activity to identify trends and investigate reporting discrepancies.
  • Maintain financial tracking schedules and supporting business reports.
Process Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial reporting processes, forecasting accuracy, and operational efficiency.
  • Support implementation of reporting enhancements and process improvements.
  • Assist with audit requests, reporting requirements, and financial documentation.
Reporting & Analysis
  • Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial analyses for management.
  • Develop reporting packages and dashboards that support departmental decision-making.
  • Support additional finance projects and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned
What This Person Will Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), financial analysis, business analytics, or corporate finance.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modeling and data analysis.
  • Experience with Oracle, SAP, Hyperion, Adaptive Planning, or similar ERP and forecasting systems preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multiple departments.
