Job summary

TrustedQA, Inc. in Colorado Springs is seeking a C2BMC Test Engineer to integrate hardware and software into testbeds and operating systems, and to perform full system checkouts of virtual machines, networks and message flows.

You will collaborate with MOS elements and Government customers to troubleshoot complex issues, write test plans and reports, and develop scripts for log and traffic analysis. Some travel to fielded sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or STEM field from an accredited college.
• 0–2 years of experience as a system integrator/administrator, or 4–6 years in lieu of a degree.
• Domain expertise in Networking, Linux, and/or Windows.
• Self-starter with good communication and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced Government customer environment.
• Basic troubleshooting and understanding of hardware/software in distributed virtual environments.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level-II certification (e.g. Sec+) required at start.

Responsibilities

• Integrate C2BMC hardware and software into testbeds and operational systems; conduct full system checkouts of virtual machines, networks, and message flows.
• Work with MOS and other entities to test, troubleshoot, and resolve complex system issues; author test plans and procedures; write Problem Reports.
• Create and modify scripts to extract information from log files; perform data analysis of I/O and internal message traffic.
• Operate and troubleshoot C2BMC systems during test events and integration activities.
• Support meetings with National Team groups, MOS elements, and Government customers.
