Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a candidate to join the C2BMC operations team. The role involves daily monitoring, operations, and maintenance of C2BMC network systems in a 24x7 environment, reporting to the C2BMC Watch Officer.

It requires a DoD Secret clearance, DoD 8140 IAT II+ certification, and solid networking/Windows server experience. The selected candidate will support warfighter missions, handle network troubleshooting, and participate in 12-hour shift rotations including nights and

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance is required to start.
• DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher is required to start.
• Strong knowledge of network concepts (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP).
• Experience with monitoring tools and network management techniques.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, vCenter, vSphere).
• Hands-on with remote access tools such as SSH, RDP, FTP, SCP.
• Familiarity with OSPF, Cisco IOS, and JUNOS commands; Windows Server maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Provides first-level technical support to the warfighter and performs initial troubleshooting of local C2BMC network hardware and software.
• Documents and reports events and issues to the CWO and follows tasks from CCC for operations, testing, and real-world events.
• Assists in network hardware/software installations and maintains user accounts per ISSO guidance.
• Rotating 24/7 shift work; 12-hour shifts with potential off-shift nights and weekends as needed.
