Role: C#, WPF UI Software Engineer

Work Location: Remote within USA (Client location: CA, PST time zone)

Rate: $62/hr MAX on C2C/1099

Job Responsibilities

• Design and develop C# desktop applications for our instruments.
• Create software that integrates hardware, biology, and AI into seamless UI.
• Support daily research and improve instrument software.
• Expand system capabilities by exploring new hardware.
• Collaborate with scientists to enhance instrument intelligence and usability.
• Improve architecture of complex systems.

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with object-oriented design and principles; writing high-quality, clean code.
• Proficiency in C#.
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices (version control, code reviews, agile, unit testing).
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Experience building C# WPF UI and GUI design.
• Experience with hardware interfacing (e.g., instrumentation).
• Experience writing asynchronous/multi-threaded applications.
• Experience with relational/non-relational databases.
• Experience with image processing (OpenCV) and signal processing.
• Python experience is a plus.
