Overview

ArcGIS Pro is a powerful geographic information system (GIS) software used to analyze, visualize, and share spatial data, helping to solve real-world problems. As part of this team, you will develop streamlined editing tools and experiences for the next software release, enabling users to deliver crucial data and make informed decisions. This role offers the opportunity to work with a fast-paced, agile team utilizing the latest technologies, including asynchronous programming and MVVM, to design and develop next-generation Esri software. Within the first six months, you will develop tools supporting complex workflows in 2D and 3D for the ArcGIS Pro Editor.

Responsibilities

• Create ArcGIS Editor solutions for ArcGIS Pro using C++ and C#
• Design and develop asynchronous GUI components for ArcGIS Pro
• Build software following industry-standard design patterns, methodologies, and deployment models
• Collaborate with other developers throughout the development process

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience developing enterprise software in C++
• Experience with asynchronous programming using the Task Parallel Library
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field

Recommended Qualifications

• Knowledge of Database Management Systems (DBMS)
• Experience developing software in C#
• Knowledge of the MVVM design pattern
