Job summary

A dynamic tech company is seeking a strong C#/VB.NET Developer to join their Agile team supporting enterprise-level applications. This role is a long-term contract-to-hire opportunity working fully remote. The ideal candidate will design and maintain applications using C# and VB.NET, enhance front-end functionality with Angular, and manage SQL Server objects. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and proven experience in Agile environments are required.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with Angular.
  • Strong SQL Server experience with complex queries and stored procedures.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.

- $55–$65/hour W2 / conversion salary of 110-135K

We are seeking a strong C#/VB.NET Developer to join a dynamic Agile team supporting enterprise-level applications. This is a long-term contract-to-hire opportunity working fully remote on EST hours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain applications using C#, VB.NET, .NET Framework, and .NET Core
  • Build and enhance front-end functionality using Angular
  • Support server-side scripting with Node.js
  • Develop and maintain SQL Server objects (tables, stored procedures, views, functions)
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and code reviews
  • Contribute to CI processes, unit testing, and continuous integration
  • Utilize Git for source control and Jira for work tracking
  • Troubleshoot and enhance existing applications
  • Contribute to architectural discussions and system improvements
Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience with C# and VB.NET in enterprise environments
  • Strong knowledge of .NET Framework and .NET Core
  • Hands‑on experience with Angular
  • Working knowledge of Node.js (light experience acceptable)
  • Strong SQL Server experience (complex queries & stored procedures)
  • Experience working in Agile environments
  • Experience with RESTful API development
  • Proficiency with Git workflows
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
Preferred Experience
  • Insurance industry experience (highly preferred)
  • Experience with Docker & Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with QuickBuild, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions
  • Exposure to Azure or AWS
  • Understanding of software architecture best practices
