Job summary

Amentum in Crane, Indiana is hiring a C-UxS Field Service Representative to support NSWC Crane programs. You will work on field deployment, system integration and assessment activities, coordinating with vendors and subject matter experts to drive project execution.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of experience, strong communication and analytical skills, and travel up to 20%. Active Secret clearance is required; Top-Secret is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 7+ years of experience.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team to solve engineering problems.
• Excellent interpersonal communication, organizational and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with developing schedules, work breakdown structures, word processing, spreadsheets and integrated software applications.
• Up to 20% travel may be required.
• Must have an active Secret US Government clearance. US Citizenship required to obtain Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Amentum representative for customer-focused C-UxS project activities, reporting to project leadership.
• Provide C-UxS expertise to help guide all project execution issues.
• Support technology surveys to review specifications of CUxS systems against customer requirements.
• Support NSWC Crane efforts for capability gap and requirement refinement activities.
• Lead system integration and test efforts to determine CUxS system or system of systems effectiveness for Navy missions.
• Develop and review technical documents such as system design documents and test plans.
• Review vendor’s technical documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Advise program management on matters affecting project success, schedule, and cost impacts; develop recovery plans.
• Represent the organization in meetings and conferences as required.
• Support and/or lead integrated product teams (IPTs) and may supervise staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
