Job summary

CACi is seeking a Systems Engineer to lead C-UAS initiatives for JIATF 401 in the US. You will guide the design, integration, testing, and sustainment of complex capabilities, leveraging MSS, Palantir, Power BI, Python, and AI-based tools to inform executive decisions.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance, 4+ years' experience, and strong collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver mission-critical systems for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience (or equivalent).
• Experience applying systems engineering to design, integration, testing, or sustainment of complex systems.
• Experience with MSS, Palantir, or similar data platforms.
• Experience developing dashboards and visualizations with Power BI or similar tools.
• Python for automation, data analysis, scripting, or support activities.
• Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools for engineering analysis and decision-making.
• Knowledge of systems architecture, interfaces, requirements, V&V, and configuration management.
• Ability to document engineering work and communicate to leadership.
• Experience in system integration, interoperability analysis, and operational testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead the lifecycle of C-UAS capabilities from requirements to sustainment.
• Use MSS, Palantir, Power BI, Python, and AI tools for analysis and integration.
• Develop system architectures, interfaces, and technical baselines for C-UAS.
• Analyze performance, interoperability, reliability, and operational effectiveness.
• Create and maintain requirements traceability, ICDs, system specs, and risk assessments.
• Support technology demonstrations, testing, and capability evaluations.
• Collaborate with engineers, cyber, data scientists, and operators to integrate systems.
• Perform trade studies, technology assessments, and gap analyses for acquisition strategies.
• Evaluate AI-enabled and autonomous systems for operational use.
• Produce dashboards, reports, and executive briefings for senior leadership.
• Apply AI and automation to improve SE processes and decision support.
• Identify risks and interoperability challenges and propose solutions.
• Ensure compliance with SE standards, cybersecurity, and data governance.
• Maintain awareness of evolving C-UAS tech and digital engineering.
