Job summary

Edgewater Federal Solutions is seeking experienced Drone Operators to support unmanned aerial systems operations for mission-focused security events. The Drone Operator will deploy, operate, and support C-UAS platforms used for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance coverage, rapid response operations, and real-time video and data transmission in support of mission-critical operations.

This role requires hands-on C-UAS flight operations experience, strong situational awareness, and the

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen required.
• FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate required.
• Experience operating C-UAS platforms in ISR/surveillance/public-safety environments.
• Ability to travel nationwide for protection events and provide onsite coverage.
• Experience with mission planning, preflight inspections, and post-flight documentation.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, operate, and recover C-UAS platforms for protection events.
• Conduct pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight procedures for safe operations.
• Provide real-time video, imagery, and sensor data to command teams.
• Operate C-UAS payloads including EO/IR cameras and thermal imaging.
• Maintain readiness for rapid launch and 24/7 event coverage as needed.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders to support mission objectives.
• Assist with secure data transmission and C2 integration.
