Job Overview:

The C-Store Manager is responsible for day-to-day store operations, including scheduling, training, and supervising employees and assistant managers. They are also responsible for store profits and all controllable expenses such as labor, inventory levels, and cash and inventory shortages.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in recruiting, recommending for hire, and training team members to ensure excellent customer service.
• Motivate, encourage, and challenge store team members.
• Promote and resolve customer complaints professionally and promptly.
• Implement and enforce daily operating procedures to keep the store clean, stocked, organized, and well-maintained.
• Ensure merchandise is stocked, displays are attractive and correctly priced, and safely displayed.
• Supervise and discipline employees according to company policy.
• Monitor competitor gasoline prices and report to the corporate office as per management guidelines.
• Complete daily paperwork and computer entries promptly.
• Monitor cash over/short, inventory shrinkage, and drive-offs daily.
• Conduct store meetings with employees, at least once a month.
• Physically able to perform all duties of a store team member.
• Understand and utilize daily store operation reports.
• Follow and enforce all company policies and procedures.
• Implement monthly promotions and ensure POS advertising/signage is properly posted.
• Communicate pricing issues to the Price Book Administrator.
• Enforce merchandising and vendor policies.
• Ensure safety and security, reporting unsafe conditions.
• Report and process incidents or accidents involving employees or customers.
