General Position Summary:
Responsible for the supervision of all Clerks at assigned retail store. Performs all tasks related to point of sales.
Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:
Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervises all clerks to ensure customer service and housekeeping standards are maintained. Makes recommendations, to management, overtime, job performance within retail location.
Specific Job Skills:
Education and/or Experience:
High School diploma or GED required. Two to three (2-3) year cash handling or retail sales experience or a combination of cash handling and supervisory experience. Must be 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license.
Job Conditions:
Working conditions include working in retail store setting during busy and slow times of the day and night in a non- smoking environment. Conditions will also include frequent interruptions or working alone. Requires being available to work evenings and some weekends.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long periods of time. Manual dexterity for use of cash registers and computers. Ability to lift 40 lbs.
