Job Summary

The C-Store Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager in ensuring efficient store operations, maximizing revenue, customer satisfaction, and profitability. Responsibilities include recruiting, training, developing staff, maintaining store cleanliness, stock levels, and customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Work assigned shifts, including at least two nights per week.
2. Maintain proper uniform and identification.
3. Perform general shift duties and specific tasks as assigned.
4. Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
5. Provide prompt and courteous customer service.
6. Maintain store cleanliness and safety standards.
7. Assist in recruiting and training staff.
8. Handle cash procedures and bank deposits accurately.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and evaluate staff.
• Oversee daily workflow and performance standards.
• Handle disciplinary actions and terminations as needed.

Physical and Environmental Requirements

• Stand for entire shift, lift up to 50 lbs, work in coolers, climb ladders, react to emergencies.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and good health.
