Actalent is seeking a talented C# Software Developer to join a space systems team in a hybrid role based in Redondo Beach, CA. You will design, develop, and maintain C# applications for automated test sets and create drivers to interface with hardware.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of C#/.NET experience, with scripting in Python or PowerShell and GUI work using WPF. Expect a comprehensive benefits package and collaboration across hardware, systems, and QA teams.

Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of C# software development experience, preferably in aerospace/defense.
• Proficiency in C# and .NET framework; experience interfacing with hardware via drivers.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and PowerShell; GUI development with WPF.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain C# applications for automated test sets used in space systems.
• Create and optimize drivers to interface with various hardware components.
• Develop scripts to automate testing processes and ensure efficient test execution.
• Implement and maintain calibration routines to ensure test equipment accuracy.
• Design and develop GUIs to enhance usability of automated test sets.
• Collaborate with hardware/system/QA teams to ensure integration and functionality.
• Prepare and maintain documentation including user manuals and specs.
• Identify and resolve software issues to ensure reliability and performance.
