CyberCoders is seeking a Software Engineer (C#/.NET) to design, build, and maintain scalable cloud-enabled backend applications in an insurance industry setting. The role emphasizes reliability, performance, and security, with integration to frontend systems and Azure services.

You will work across the full development lifecycle, collaborating with product owners and engineers to deliver robust software, implement CI/CD pipelines, and ensure code quality through testing and reviews.

Qualifications

• Proficient in C# and .NET with production experience.
• Strong SQL skills including designing schemas and performance tuning.
• Experience building and consuming APIs and integrating with frontend apps.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain backend services and APIs using C# and .NET.
• Develop and optimize relational schemas and queries in SQL with data integrity.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with frontend (JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Deploy and operate apps in Azure (App Services, Functions, Service Bus).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into solutions.
• Write tests, perform code reviews, and ensure quality via automated testing and static analysis.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines for build, test, and deployment processes.
• Use Entity Framework and LINQ for data access and efficient operations.
• Profile and optimize performance, implement caching, and handle incidents.
• Document designs, APIs, and runbooks; mentor junior engineers.
