Job summary

Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) seeks a Software Developer to design, develop, and maintain modeling and simulation software in C++. You will collaborate with engineers and scientists to build robust, scalable simulations for diverse applications.

The role requires a BS in CS/engineering and at least 2 years of C++ experience, with Windows and Linux proficiency, OO design, and strong problem-solving skills. Security clearance eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of professional C++ software development experience.
• Experience with Windows and Linux environments.
• Strong knowledge of OO programming and design patterns.
• Active Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI and SAP eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and debug software applications primarily in C++.
• Develop and maintain modeling and simulation software, using best practices.
• Contribute to architecture and design of new software features.
• Write clear, concise, well-documented code.
• Collaborate in a fast-paced, agile team environment.
• Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot and resolve defects.
• Deploy and maintain applications on Windows and Linux.
