Job summary

PSC Biotech seeks an experienced C&Q Engineer to support analytical instrumentation projects in a regulated life sciences setting. You will act as the Equipment System Owner for COTS instruments and vendor software, overseeing qualification activities and document review.

The role emphasizes on-site work with limited remote tasks for documentation. Candidates should have 5–10 years in commissioning/qualification and must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field with relevant commissioning/qualification experience.
• Experience reviewing and approving qualification documents and protocols.
• Proven ownership of equipment systems and oversight during projects.
• Experience with COTS analytical instruments and network data storage.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Equipment System Owner for computerized analytical instrumentation throughout commissioning and qualification activities.
• Provide technical ownership and oversight for COTS instruments and vendor software.
• Review qualification protocols, supporting documentation, and deliverables for technical accuracy.
• Attend qualification execution meetings and provide system-owner input.
• Support integration with network storage and data management.
• Collaborate with validation teams, engineering, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure successful qualification.
• Maintain system-owner documentation and facilitate knowledge transfer at project completion.
