Job summary

Unum is seeking a talented Business Programmer II to design, code, test and troubleshoot C#/.NET applications. You will maintain and enhance existing systems, develop new internal tools, and ensure robust documentation and quality.

The role emphasizes collaboration within the Documentation Management team and cross-functional partners to deliver reliable software solutions. Ideal candidates have strong C#/.NET proficiency, SQL expertise, REST API experience, and familiarity with Agile practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work experience is required.
• 4+ years' experience in business or financial analysis, management reporting, or related work experience is required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex applications.
• Experience in Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test and troubleshoot programs utilizing the appropriate hardware, database, and programming technology.
• Maintain and modify existing programs; make approved changes.
• Develop simple applications utilizing the appropriate hardware, database, and programming technology.
• Test and develop programming modifications.
• Write and maintain programming documentation.
