Job summary

Atlas Tech is seeking a C# .NET Software Developer in Charleston, SC to support a major Navy system. You will primarily use C# and ASP.NET to maintain frontend interfaces and backend services backed by SQL databases.

This is an onsite position in North Charleston, SC. Candidates must meet DoD security requirements and bring strong Linux/Windows development experience.

Qualifications

• Secret clearance or ability to obtain DoD Top Secret clearance.
• 5+ years of C# software development experience.
• 3+ years’ experience with Linux (Red Hat preferred).
• CompTIA Security+ CE certification or equivalent.
• Experience with ASP.NET to implement web frontend.
• Experience maintaining and improving GitLab build pipelines.
• Writing SQL for database schema modifications and queries.
• Scripting in Bash and PowerShell.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with static analyzers such as Fortify is a plus.
• Experience in Agile/DevOps/DevSecOps environments is a strong plus.
• Experience with containerized applications is a strong plus.
• Knowledge of coding in compliance with current DoD Information Assurance policies.

Atlas Tech, a veteran-owned IT company serving multiple DoD customers in support of America's warfighters, is seeking a C# .NET Software Developer in Charleston, SC, to serve as a developer for a major Navy system. You will primarily use C# and ASP.NET to maintain frontend web interfaces and backend services backed by SQL databases.

This is an onsite position in North Charleston, SC.

You Will:

• Maintain software with C# and C++ for Windows platforms.
• Develop software with C# for Linux/Unix platforms.
• Understand and work within system architecture/constraints as specified by lead developer.
• Work with senior team members to understand “definition of correct” for a feature, implement it, and ensure that correctness.

You Have:

• Currently possess a secret clearance and can obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret Level Security Clearance
• Self-motivation, a strong work ethic, and commitment to quality
• BS Degree in Computer Science or similar
• 5+ years of C# software development experience (or similar experience eg. Java and C++)
• 3+ years’ experience with Linux (Red Hat preferred)
• CompTIA Security+ CE certification or equivalent
• Experience using ASP.NET to implement web frontend.
• Experience maintaining and improving GitLab build pipelines
• Writing SQL for database schema modifications and queries.
• Writing scripts in Bash (Linux/Unix; Red Hat and Debian preferred) and PowerShell (Windows).
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server or PostgreSQL
• Experience with static analyzers, such as Fortify, is a plus
• Experience in a software development methodology (e.g., Agile, DevOps/DevSecOps) environment is a strong plus
• Experience with containerized applications is a strong plus
• Knowledge of coding in compliance with current DOD Information Assurance policies
