Job summary

AHCCCS in Arizona seeks an Applications Development Supervisor in the Information Services Division to lead the development of automated systems and supervise a team of staff in the Finance/Provider/Reference/Premium Billing Unit.

The role directs project delivery, engages in policy and procedure improvements, mentors staff, manages budgets, and collaborates with leadership to ensure timely, compliant solutions aligned with state objectives. Remote work within Arizona may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 8+ years of experience in software development, ASP/.NET/C#, SQL Server, and cloud platforms.
• At least 3 years of direct supervision of software development teams and enterprise-grade web apps.
• Experience with SDLC, project management, and federal/state regulatory alignment.

Responsibilities

• Lead ISD Finance/Provider/Reference/Premium Billing Applications Systems to meet user needs and organizational goals.
• Mentor staff; establish training plans and career paths; support staff success.
• Ensure policy/procedure compliance; monitor workflows and performance; apply continuous process improvement.
