Job summary

Heather's House in Fargo is seeking a dedicated CNA to join our hospice inpatient unit. You will provide compassionate personal care to patients as directed by the plan of care, assist with nutrition, and support comfort measures in a team-focused environment.

Responsibilities include safe patient transfers, vital signs, and timely charting per regulatory requirements; you will report to the Interdisciplinary team (IDG) and work a 2:30pm–11pm shift with every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Must be a CNA providing personal care to hospice patients as directed by plan of care.
• Able to safely transfer patients, take vital signs, and complete charting on time.
• Team player with initiative to learn and dependable.

Join Us TodayPosition SummarySeeking a CNA for our Hospice inpatient unit in Fargo - Heather's House. As a nursing assistant to HIA Hospice, formerly Hospice of the Red River Valley, this person would be a vital member of the Interdisciplinary team (IDG). We are seeking a motivated person with initiative to learn, dependable and a team player. This nursing assistant would be responsible to provide personal care services to hospice patients as directed by the patient’s plan of care. These services include personal hygiene care, assisting with nutritional needs, providing comfort care and other assistance needed. Safely transferring patients, taking vital signs and complete charting in appropriate time to ensure the team receives complete reporting.This position is a full-time position. Shift is from 2:30pm - 11pm. Every other weekend.Work within the nursing assistant job scope in order to meet the requirements of applicable federal, state and local regulatory agencies.Benefits:We offer a robust benefits package for qualifying full-time and part-time employees.
