Job summary

Old Mission Capital LLC is seeking C++ Software Engineers to join our Chicago team. You will build and optimize our automated trading infrastructure and work directly with Traders and Quants to develop next-generation trading algorithms. You will also create scalable multi-tiered applications and collaborate in small, high-performing teams.

The role emphasizes high-availability, low-latency design, and partnering with cross-functional groups to deliver robust trading systems.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in CS, Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of C++ development with latency constraints.
• C++11/14/17/20, Linux, Python, and Bash scripting.
• Knowledge of the Linux kernel and systems programming.
• Experience with low-latency, high-availability systems.
• Experience with network protocols and exchange APIs.
• Experience with parallel, concurrent, and multi-threaded programming.

Responsibilities
