Job summary

Resicum International LLC is seeking an experienced Aircraft Mechanic II – Powerplant to support C/KC-130T aircraft maintenance operations at NAS Jacksonville, Florida, with the capability to rapidly deploy to operational Government locations worldwide. This position is contingent upon contract award.

The incumbent will perform powerplant maintenance, troubleshoot and repair engines, and ensure compliance with NAVAIR publications while coordinating with site supervisors and Government

Qualifications

• Significant professional aircraft maintenance experience with a powerplant/engine specialization.
• Demonstrated experience performing maintenance on military aircraft, preferably C-130 or comparable transport/turboprop aircraft.
• Strong working knowledge of aircraft engine and propulsion systems, including associated fuel, oil, lubrication, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing aircraft powerplant malfunctions using technical publications, schematics, test equipment, and established maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled C/KC-130T aircraft powerplant maintenance in accordance with applicable technical publications and maintenance procedures.
• Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, remove, install, and modify aircraft engines and associated powerplant components.
• Perform maintenance on engine fuel, oil, lubrication, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot aircraft engine and powerplant malfunctions using approved maintenance procedures and specialized test equipment.
• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting associated with propulsion systems and propeller-related components, as applicable to the assigned aircraft.
• Conduct inspections, operational checks, functional checks, and maintenance procedures following component replacement or repair.
• Interpret and apply NAVAIR technical manuals, maintenance instructions, engineering documentation, drawings, schematics, and other applicable technical publications.
