Job summary

Marshall University School of Pharmacy seeks a Faculty Support GA for Fall 2026 to assist faculty, supervise laboratories under supervision, and help with grading quizzes, homework, and other projects.

The GA will collaborate with the Department of Curriculum and Instruction to support teaching, scholarship, and program initiatives, develop instructional resources, engage students, plan events, and participate in research activities, while upholding FERPA and confidentiality standards.

Qualifications

• Earned master’s degree in education or a related field.
• Admission to and continued enrollment in the Education Specialist (Ed.S.) or Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) major in Curriculum and Instruction.
• Basic proficiency with computer applications and educational technologies.
• Completed coursework or professional interests related to teaching, learning, assessment, or research.
• Experience teaching in an education setting.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching, scholarship, and program initiatives within the Department of Curriculum and Instruction.
• Serve as teaching assistant, develop instructional resources, and support student engagement.
• Assist with event planning and participate in research-related activities.
• Adhere to FERPA, confidentiality, and Marshall University communication practices.
