Job summary

Velocity Search Group Inc. is seeking a C# Full Stack Enterprise Developer in New York City for a hybrid in-office/remote role.

You will design scalable full-stack solutions, migrate accounting systems, and build backend services with C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and T-SQL, while creating modern front-ends with Blazor/React/Angular. You will also develop cloud-based apps on Azure, automate financial processes, and apply AI-assisted development to boost productivity and quality in a fast-paced asset

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
• 5+ years full stack development of enterprise applications.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, source control, and database deployment practices.
• Financial services or asset management experience is preferred.
• Experience with portfolio management & trading systems is a plus.

Our client a leading asset management firm, located in New York City is looking to hire a C# Full Stack Enterprise Developer. This is a Full Time Position. Work will be conducted 3 days in office and 2 day from home. Citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable full-stack software solutions.
• Participate in the migration of existing accounting systems to a new third-party platform and serve as the primary technology resource responsible for ongoing support, maintenance, and enhancements post-implementation.
• Develop back-end systems utilizing technologies including C#, ASP.NET Web API, .NET Framework/.NET Core, and T-SQL (SQL Server).
• Develop modern front-end applications utilizing technologies including Blazor, Bootstrap, React, and Angular.
• Develop cloud-based applications and migrate existing applications to Microsoft Azure.
• Design and implement automation solutions for accounting and trading-related business processes.
• Translate functional and business requirements into scalable technical solutions and architectures aligned with business objectives.
• Leverage AI-assisted development practices and tools to improve engineering productivity, development efficiency, and solution quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Extensive experience in designing and implementing enterprise solutions.
• 5+ years full stack development of enterprise applications and web technology.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, source control, and database deployment practices.
• Financial services or asset management experience is preferred.
• Experience in Portfolio Management & Trading Systems.
• Experience developing integrations/interfaces for accounting systems, along with a strong understanding of accounting platform functionality and workflows.
• Experience with portfolio management and trading systems technologies.
• Knowledge of Security Master, security pricing, Bloomberg data, and post-trade processing is preferred.
• Experience with Charles River OMS, Advent Portfolio Exchange (APX), Clearwater Analytics is a plus.
• Experience developing cloud-based applications and migrating existing applications to Microsoft Azure.
• Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, application architectures, and modern development tools.
• Experience with application modernization, modularization, and Microservices Architecture.
• Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and release management.
• Proficiency with .NET technologies including .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET, Angular, and Power BI.
• Expertise in T-SQL, SSRS, and SQL Server database technologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Financial services or asset management industry experience is preferred.
• Experience with Azure development, Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint.
• Relevant Microsoft, Azure, or technology certifications are considered a plus.
• Comfortable leveraging AI-assisted development practices and tools to improve engineering productivity and solution delivery.
